International Paper

Working with McKee Wallwork + Co I collaborated on a global branding project for International Paper. Our team developed three directions, including a film I conceived that shows how paper connects us all. Titled, The Box, it’s a life journey of an IP corrugated box that travels the world.


The campaign used the circle of the company’s logo icon to create a visual synergy across every platform, company, and culture.

The Box
I was excited the client loved this contribution in particular. A short film I developed that follows the life of a box, from its birth at an IP plant through a myriad of uses until it reaches a recycling plant and reborn as another box. The film shows the box travel around the world and illustrates all of the areas of life International Paper engages, from a family. moving to puppies being given away at a street curb.

Announcer: Today, it seems everyone is saying, “To create something new, you must think outside the box.” False. All of the answers are in the box, hidden among problems. We must be unafraid to climb into the darkness with them. Because, in the box, among the clutter of doubt and uncertainty, we find things we hold dear. We find answers that make the world a bit more to everyone’s liking.
